My previous setup (the black car) uses 16 inch wheels, measuring 16x8+9 on 195/45 tires.

Curiosity is the issue why I tried to push the fitment using 17 inch wheels..

ps : please lemme know what you think about the previous setup

This looks great man. Though I agree, if your current wheels were 15's or 16's it would be 10x better. Previous set up proves it!

Damn this is nice man. Keep the 17's, do whatever, its your car. I see these everywhere here driven by people who beat the fuck out of them and treat them like crap - no maintenance what so ever blowing black smoke out of the back. Never thought Id see one stanced. You did this car right

I'm not sure if i really feel that a smaller wheel would look 'better' in this case. i think it more depends on what you're going for. The fit you've got looks fantastic and kind of beefy. I love corollas with tiny wheels that get stuck on pebbles, in a shakotan kind of way, but it's nice to see one done a bit differently.

guess the problem i have is the thousands of these corollas rolling around here in SA with wannabe 17's on, they so common with that size, the 16's for me just looked better since i never see them done right

honestly, the thoughts of changing it with smaller wheels like the previous setup have crossed my mind for several times.. but for the time being, I'm still in love with the present setup.
anyway, appreciate the 2cents a lot mates !

PoLonY : LOL. is it that bad ? kinda sad to hear that corollas are not doin it right

IMO its not stanced because of how high off the ground it is. I agree 15's or even 14's would look rad

I've been looking at this corolla for a while. it's literaly the only ae92 I've seen stanced.

I have two 4 door sedans like this, i'd love to stance them somewhat like yours but I can't find owering springs or coilovers that fit it...

Do you have any suggestions? Like any other models that are the same springs as our cars?

^^i've looked into this already. 93 corolla suspension parts CAN fit an ae 92. if you want coilovers, you can get a set of coilovers made for a 93-96 corolla. if you want just a shock/spring combo, make sure to get not only the springs for the 93 but also the shocks too. the springs alone won't work on a stock AE92 shock.

Your car on 16's wins as the best corolla Ive seen so far today.
