What a short season this was...

Engine failed. Sounds like a rattling can of nails, probably bearing damage or something. Going to pull it and source a 2.8 and tackle some other things like engine bay re-fresh, rear axle overhaul... I'll keep you posted.

Car is all done, but it's acting up -> first drive to the gas station and it ran hot again. Seems there's an issue with the cooling system. No clue what as of yet. But I'm absolutely in love with how it looks. Although I'm not entirely satisfied with the skirts as the passenger one doesn't want to stick to the fender... it's not coming off as it's also fixed with a small screw, but there's a small gap at the top... will have to see what I can do about this.

Thanks! Yeah, I did the filler and base coat, a friend did the clear since he's a bit more experienced. Came out pretty nice, but needs a wet sand and polish due to dust particles (unavoidable in a garage paint)

    Aaaaaand it's on.

Glue needs to harden out. Think I can provide full pics on saturday after i've buttoned up the interior (need to re-install some stuff in the boot) and gave it a quick detail...

It looks incredibly different now with the skirts and roof wing! Doesn't look like much on pictures, but in real life it totally transforms the car. I'm so happy with this now!

Aaaaand, all done. Just need to let it harden for a few days until I install it. Needs a wetsand and polish, too, but that'll come in 2-3 weeks once it's hardened fully.

Fillered some stuff today... got some imperfections to sand out, then it's time for paint in a few days once I find the time...

Moved the car out the garage today. Felt like home when I sat in it and started it.

    So...

    Did some work today.

Scott (Minuki) sourced me another pair of Schnitzer skirts, so I finally have a useable set - driver's side gets one from the set I already had, passenger side gets one from the set Scott sent me.

Been doing some prep work today, sanding the skirt, roof wing and front bumper and fixed a crack in the front bumper (no picture of that).

Keeping it static, as I'm thinking about selling it after Players, kinda feel it's time for something new.

    Thanks guys!

Here's one from a few days ago... note the missing skirts. I've since sold the M-skirts and am eagerly awaiting a set of Schnitzer skirts that Scott (Minuki) sourced for me in Scotland!

Also, I'm saving up for new suspension... I want to have the car bagged asap.
