been lurkin on a few stance forums and i'm tired of the nasioc drama. and that seems to still pass on over to the other stanced forums. love it here though everyone seems awesome.
i figured i'ld start a thread here to show the build. still working on the stance portion and with winter coming up and the fact im still trying to get her running it was sorta put on the back burner. but a little history i guess.
when i got her
i added the cf trunk but it already had a turbo back, agx struts with sti springs, forged pistons, vf34 pushing 26lbs of boost (only god knows why)

i ran her through the summer and the winter then in spring pow went the motor :/ wonderful. shot a rod through the block, took out half a cylinder wall, welded the bearings to the crank it was nice. i had a previous motor from raw1 kickin around from a previous suby i was planning on building so i put it in there but decided to take care of some other things as well so while waiting for parts i did some work on the stereo.

all faced and bent at 90's ... 6 sets of rca's you wonder i run an old school eclipse 8053 that runs one whole rca as a positive and the other side as a negative instead of half and half. little better for the sound so they say, but score parts showed up show i had a set of cusco headers, aig velocity stacked up pipe with tial 38mm ewg, fp hta68 (gaaaarrrbaage turbo) dw750cc a new turbo back and some tein flex's. freakin sweet on to the tune....well that didn't go to well since the clutch was torched. so i ordered a new clutch. back to tuning. we were running wastegate boost and doing a 2nd to 3rd gear pull (mind you the car hasn't been on the road for even a month at this point and it's the beginning of summer for us) pow blew up the tranny. lucky as i was it was just third gear. so she got driven for a little while with plans and a new tranny on the way oh well.

so after dealing with the constant downs of the car with one problem after another i decided to do it all at once this time and be done with each section and not have to worry about it any more. so in place of the buster wrx 5 speed went in a jdm version 7 sti 6 speed. with a tilton twin disk clutch, hydro through out, and master cylinder throw in some kartboy shifter bushing, tranny x member bushing, tic shifter linkage bushings and a kartboy short throw done...

with my tranny i picked up the r180 rear end and sti rear axles and hubs but they didn't come with brembos so i picked some up decided to do the whole deal with dba 4000, hawk hps plus, grss lines. weeell might as well do the fronts as well and why not some extended studs for the heck of it and hit them with some color.

before i put the whole back end back together why not do a cobb sway bar solid endlinks stance's solid alum outrigger bushings and differential bushings, a kartboy subframe lock down kit, and cusco trailing arms and lateral links, cobb front sway, solid endlinks, and a white line front roll center adjustment set up

i got her all done up slapped some msi solid engine mounts on her and set her back down on the ground. swapped out the cf trunk for a sti set up and painted the cf hood. mean while i did a super quick super ghetto wire tuck just to give her a bit of a clean up under the hood. as for the future i've got another motor that i am working on that will be going in in spring time and that has a much better tuck on it. as for the pre existing motor theres a bunch of other things in there such as tgv delets, a new fuel set up, cosworth timing guide small stupid stuff as well as changed the stereo set up yet again.

do to changing my idea of inner cooler set ups i actually swapped to the plastic intake mani with the side mounted throttle body to better fit the location of my water to air inner cooler set up. which has yet to see any color and im still working on getting it ported out to match the tgv's but here is somewhat of an idea how the set up is until spring when she gets torn back apart for the new motor..

where the stance comes in....

i just took the car to the shop i work at over the weekend and hopefully i will be able to get some more updates on her. sorry for the long read. and just for fun some pics of the old lady's evo
i won't drag out her car like i did mine but we picked it up with the grids and she swapped it over to the 11r's we will be going lower with it but we've got so much on our plates right now and with winter coming up we are going to put it on hold till after some snow clears
