  • Recaro Pole Position Build

Covered these in a teal all weather synthetic using an nice auto/marine material that is specially treated and carries a very high temp, rub and uv rating as well as mildew protection. The material can handle moisture, is easy to clean, great for track use, and still reasonably affordable to replace if ever damaged. Great
for motorsport while still remaining nice looking for street use.

(partial pattern onto back of material)

(felt w/canvas backing to be used on the under side of inserts for a secure grip against the velcro)

    (new embroidery)

(nearly all of the pattern pcs)

    (stripped seat)

(starting to put the puzzle together)

(test fitting... an absolute nightmare, had to go back and do some adjustments to the original pattern, these not not fun to fit)

Final product (minus trimming the material from around the belt guides)

I was kinda skeptical of the teal but it works really well with the jazz blue.

Amazing work Ron. From what I've seen in the mk2 forums you're still holding back on a lot of cool stuff.

Oh i was skeptical for sure - We will actually be meeting up with him tomorrow to go over the rest of the interior. Its going to be pretty much different then anything i have ever seen done in a mk3

Have a few different wholesale fabric supply warehouses. You need to have a business license however, they do not sell to walk in customers.

Tarik's car is so awesome. Ron, you have been churning out some really good seats/interior as of late. I dig.
