thanks zic! good link direct to it!! ill read through the rest cheers

Here's me rolling on 235 tyres while i saved up for some stretch tyres, already pulled out the arches a bit and cut the rest

thanks for your advice on the rears, if i can get them flush ill be very happy! i guess ill see how they are for size when they arrive then i have some 5mm spacers, or some 10mm and 20mm spacers if i need them.

this is how i had the rear, i think a bit higher than this would look better:

ok cool, you have made me feel a little more confident that they will fit, ill post back when i have collected the wheels with photos ill fit them up without the tyres on to see what stretch i might need

Those will fit just fine, if anything will need to be spaced out a bit, which is OK. They are 18"s so you will want to tuck out back, which it will do no problem with those offsets. The fronts, just get it low enough, then work out how much spacer you need, should be 10-20mm. Should look really good man.

I have fender flares, and my fenders are pulled up front, and cut in the rear, so you can't really use my car as an example for fitment.

Just a quick question about your coil-overs.... what are the Nex ones like? I'm currently using some cut apex springs but need to change on to coil-overs soon and since these are the cheapest and I have no money it will probably be them!

They are superb, a brilliant ride, and loads of adjustment, just not straight forward to fit, heres me chopping them up to fit them: http://www.jamesfawcett.co.uk/cms/in...sion&Itemid=11

would definately recommend them, the only bad thing ive heard is that after a year or so, the e34 users with them slammed so much, the shockers fail and leak. But, ive also heardthat the shocker part is the same as a billstein size, so you could swap over the internals, ive yet to find this out myself though because mine havent popped yet

Where did you get the coilovers from? And how much did you end up paying to your door in the UK.

I was looking into them and found 1 seller in the states with no UK delivered.

                  hey Jorge,

i think the company was called maxspeedperformance on eBay, from California.
really recommend him, they came in about a week, really well boxed and when i looked under the arch last week, even after having a rough winter they have stayed shiney and looking like new.

I paid about £650, something like that, including shipping to UK.

I would think these ACS would be perfect... but why the slim tires ?

                      My E34 will be running 18" Alpina B10s, 8,5" front with 245/40 and 9,5" rear with 285/35 ?

WTF would you want 205 and 215 ?

I was running 235's in one of the above photos on 8.0" wide rims, it was very close to everything, and the front wheels rubbed when turning

i think the e34 arches are bigger than e28

also i would like to try get the lip flush with the body if possible, tyres tucked under the arches

Angelico, I've been thinking about your post, by slim Tyres do you mean narrow, or do you mean the profile? Do you think I would be best with 45s or even 50s?
I really don't want the rubber band look
                                Thanks
