In the meanwhile I had bought some wheels, a set of Borbet A in 17x7.5 ET35 4x100 in reasonable state, apart from the paint:

A quick testfit with the old crappy tires on them and no spacers:

I had hoped to have them done before the great DUMPd event over here, but the powder coater needed some more time. So I went like this:

I picked up the wheels last night, here's a couple pics of how they turned out:

Gloss and effect of the coating really depend on the lighting conditions, perfect for old school wheels IMHO...

They will be fitted next week, on Saturday the 6th!
I'm gonna run them without the lids, as I like the shape better this way. Also I'm gonna try them first with my 15mm spacers, 7.5J ET20 should be just right according to my calculations.

After doing the interior, I turned my attention to the exterior, with the following stuff:
- Cooper S front bumper
- Cooper S rear bumper with GP-inserts (I've since lost one and took the other off after that)
- Cooper S side skirts
- Orciari intakes (near the windshield wipers)
- black mirror caps
- JCW front grills
- tinted US side marker lights
- halo side lights
- projector fog lights with yellow bulbs
- 6000K bulbs in the OEM HID lights
- rear wiper delete (with glass bung from http://gecleant.de)
Also fitted a thicker rear anti roll bar and some camber arms, handles even better now.

I finally finished the door cards, and with that the interior (apart from 2 matching seats and Alcantara headliner+b-/c-pillars)...
Picture-dump!

I got rid of the bonnet stripes/Seven-decals:

I like how you can better see the low bonnet shape of the JustaCooper:

Also finally fitted my seat, really enhances the driving experience!
:

Now I just have to find a second seat... My carbon-laminated door handles turned up today:

So now I can finally finish my doorcards and the interior-project!
Also had a windscreen stone chip repaired and fitted 4 new spark plugs, that should be enough for now!
Next up are Cooper-S-bumpers/-skirts, after that it's wheel-time!

I stumbled upon some of my flashes, so I decided to put them to good use:

Since I started making videos for a living, I hardly do any photography...
Not a lot of news, I had the oil changed + fitted facelift xenons/HIDs and a fellow Dutch NewMiniClub-member got some Aero-parts for his Cooper S, so I'll be fitting his stock parts (i.e. side skirts). Also got a JCW Sparco drivers seat, though I havn't fitted it yet.

Fitted the dash and connected the shiftlight... it was a bit fiddly, but it's working great!
