welcome back, gorgeous! one of my all-time favorite mk2s! part of me feared it wouldn't ever be back. the final product looks great and i'm sure that motor is a blast! congrats on getting it finished and the kid!
hopefully, you're still friends with Sam Dobbins. if so, I can forsee a PVW feature in your future.

thanks, i for a while thought it would never be done, i burned my self out on it big time sweating some of the smallest things and for a long time i didn't even want to work on it. i am happy with where it is now but wish i would have spent a little more time certain areas. most people will never see them but i know...
i still have plans for the car i need to re-do the interior, trunk and eventually a new set of wheels. i like the th's but want some 15's also
and started building a car audio setup for it...the car has an older Nakamichi cd-45z cd player which is one of my favorite radio's for mk2's because they match the green lighting and have a retro look.
car is getting some focal components up from, co-ax rears and a focal sub in the trunk.
i just picked up some audioscape door pods from ebay.de
an older xtant amp to run it all
and i started to build a fiberglass box for the sub...
