If you're going to get Rota's you should get the Shakotan! I think the Grids will look to "new" on this chassis.

Any honest words of ground control coils ? some say they a much less track-like compared to example Mk1 Mr:s ORIGINAL chassis .. spring rate can be changed when ordering, guess they had em too soft or somthing ... Like they way you are going whit this build !

i like them so far. i went with 550lb (some where around 13k) spring rate up front and 400lb (10k ish) in the rear. it rides really nice and is pretty stiff. would be insainly stiff on your mr2. the only problem is that they arent meant for lowering the car so they're hard on the struts

the rake is alot more severe in person. im gonna drop it about 2in in the rear. but i gotta cut the bump stops out and weld new plates in. itll still have a decent amout of rake. i can only go a 1/2in lower up front and i like where it is now

Just watch craigslist. I have seen enkei rikens go for $300 for all four w/o tires, and rs watanabes go for $500

theres a BIG difference between seattle craigslist and socal craigslist. all i can find in 4x114 is crazy high offset over priced honda bull shit. i have to have atleast 0 offset or else ill hit my coilovers. and i like the grid v

Mine's coming along slow, haha!! I just rebuilt the entire brake system, and it is amazing. I just lost my job, though, so suspension and 5 speed swap are majorly on hold right now, lol!
