I'm 16 years old and just purchased my ef sedan about 2 months agoI'm very much like you in the way that I'm very anal about my car. When I first saw it I knew that I had to have it, the interior is flawless and as far as the exterior other than a few small dings here and there and two small spots of rust on the drivers side rear fender its in great shape, its white just like yours too haha, as of now its sitting on some gsr blades and GC's on the stock struts, do to my very limited income (I work at a grocery store as a cashier) its hard to do what I want as quickly as I want
. But as far as future plans go I'm planning on buying rokkor or raceland coilovers and using those struts with my gc springs, my srpings 8"/f and 7"/r so i should be able to go about as low as you on those
hopefully anyway, as far as wheels go I'm really not sure, I really like the shakotans and also really like the rota zeros, but after seeing yours on the esm 009's it really makes me want to do some work eurolines
but what suspension would you recommend other than the gc/koni setup? also what are your spring specs? The ef looks great man! keep up the good work! any help with some questions I may have will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
- Nick
Only suspension I would recommend for going super low would be the Koni/GC combo with extended top hats. My spring rates are 850lbs front & 750lbs rear and my springs are 6in long, 2.5in diameter.
Make a build thread on here and get pics up and talk about your plans and see where you end up when it's all done. My plans changed a few times over the course of my build thread. I'm gonna keep doing things to it all the time. I'll never stop.

I'd love to get konis but its gonna take me awhile to get themhaha but holy **** man how come your spring rates are that high?! I've never really heard of anyone having spring rates that high before lol yeah I'd like to get shorter springs as well and sometimes I just think about cutting them but that'd be pretty shotty. I think for now I may cut my perches in the rear to drop me a tad bit more, and I've finally decided what wheels I want for sure now! Theyre xxr 531 15x8 +20.... I know I know, thats a really high offset, but I dont want to have to do alot of fender work and with my small rust on that rear side rolling would be a pain. I noticed you painted yours yourself you don't happen to do that for a living do you? I've been thinking about seeing what prices would be to get my rust taken care of and a re-spray... but that's a good idea, I'll see if I cant make sometime between work and school to start up a thread! But I know what you mean man, there's always something to do next and its always a work in progress

Don't worry about offsets. Do what you want. No I don't paint for a living lol.
I know people around here that do though.

But if you want to have your car painted, don't be afraid to try it yourself. Remember its just paint, you can always go back over it.

No problem yo!
Just go back to the page where you are looking at all the different titles of different people's threads. Look toward the top left above the threads and you'll see a red button that says
"New Thread" and click it and continue from there!

Your build is radness! I just bought me a 1990 Honda Civic LX, manual of course :P. It needs some work but nothing i cant fix.. My starter just shat itself lol but on another note, I've started work on my stance. Bought me some cheap coilovers of ebay and going to install them on factory shocks until I do some more research.. thanks for the inspiration! I will make a thread soon and keep you updated!
