Poo brown w126 coupe

Finally got to steal the car away from my family. It's just been sitting around forever...(15 years)

It's a 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560sec in Poo brown with 113000 miles. The exterior is in great condition, but the interior is starting to fall apart. Mechanically, the car runs pretty well, however a lot of the electric stuff needs to be replaced.

Anyways, while I am picking away at the exterior and interior detailing, any ideas on suspension and wheels?
I am thinking BBS or CCW... You know I am really not sure, I will have plenty of time to think about it.

Wow, what an amazing base car to build off. Another vote for the old school AMG splits that came on some of these.

I vote for something really out of the norm on a car like this. Some wide ass jap mesh wheels or some wide & dished Rotiforms.


Or maybe something VIP Style. That'd be quite baller, me thinks.

Mind is flying a million different directions. I think roti VCE would like fly as hell, or some concave wheels.. I believe a 10 in the front and a 12 in the back can fit...

As far as lowering it, I am not going to dump it to the ground, just low to the point that the tires start tucking and hopefully I can source out an AMG, carlsson, lorinser kits.

This is going to be a long term project since most the parts on this car are $$$$$$$$$$

Alright car is being a PITA! But finally decided to start some work on the car.

Rear seats out, rear parcel shelf and headliner out to be redone. Hopefully I do a good job. At the moment in worried about installing the pieces back since some (most!) of the parts are so brittle from age.

Here is a pic of the interior so far.

Any suggestions on ways to correct sundamaged parts?
