  • The Newspapered E28.

Well, here we go. I picked up a stock E28 535i about a year ago as my first car.
Made it reliable and safe ish. Picked up some wheels (style 5s) and began my quest towards stance. The wheel gap was horrid so I began chopping the springs.

It seemed low at the time. Then winter rolled around and I slid into a little trouble.

I was bummed and started to repair it slowly but surely. I rolled hoodless and really, front endless for awhile as parts came in. One night as I was putting stuff back together I decided to paint it. So, I did a $48 Rustoleum roller paint job and got this.

The hood was beyond bent and dented by the time I got things to match up, so I went with this.

Had some more fun with it.

    Broke this.

    Made this.

I picked up some spacers and new tires

    Did some of this.

    And got this.

    Here we are.

And the car has been out of commision for the past week due to this.

Fitment needs work. Coilovers are coming soon. Trade me wheels.
I have a week and a half before Tailored.
    See you all there.

Always liked the bonnet, didn't realise the whole car was flat paint though... that engine looks amazing. Get it running.
