      And We're Back!!!
      With some updates LOL

      First off:

A set of new rear inner fenders from one of the newer models, as mine had some damage, overspray and got so dirty real fast!

      then this arrived...

      ready for the bin

Used some of my new tools to remove my springs, GREAT STUFF

Next up, trying on the new wheels, to find the perfect hubcentric spacer size...

a tad too wide, those 9,5" wheels with 35mm ROFL

Still on bumpstops, think those will need to be shortened...
      These are 18" btw

      25mm is NICE...

        And we continue...

For some time, I was troubled by a slipping clutch (and as I hope to increase the power of my little motor someday) It was time to get a replacement...
Later on the cause of the slipping clutch was found to be the release bearing which was failing, But at least now I can sleep tight at night again.
I contacted CG Motorsport and about one week later, the clutch kit was waiting for me at home.

This turned out to be a great choice, slip is history and the pedal feels light and smooth.

During some sporty driving, I heard a clunking noise from time to time, somewhere underneath. The Peugeot mechanic told me the lower engine mount could have been the cause of this, so I had already ordered a new one a long time ago, just in case...
Turned out he was right, the entire rubber inserts were torn...

Last year, there appeared a fabricator on the 207OC forum, named Philip, who primarily dealt with designing parts for rally cars and space frames and such...
He, together with a forum member, had developed a lower strut brace for the 207. He made himself a "jig" and had started producing some of these braces, which he sold through the forum, together with another one he had also designed himself.
Somewhat one of a kind, as he stopped producing them for now and supereffective.
What a difference! Understeer and bodyroll have decreased noticeably and the car now corners like it's on tracks

I thought HOW was the weekend of the 31st, and that weekend I was selected to be at the Auto Motor Tuning Expo in Budapest, Hungary.
So my car wasn't ready yet the weekend of HOW...
Pics will be up soon, with the new wheels, and they look great, only problem is, with the width of the wheels, I can't drop the car any lower then it was last year, as I would need to do some serious mods to the bumpers... Shame really

Well, as the new season has finally started, and I did some shows already, I guess I can post some pictures of the new stance now

                  What's changed?
Well the wheels have... I drove about 800km, to the center of germany, to collect some 18" OZ Futura's.
They needed some work, but I ended up paying 850€ for the wheels, which is a reasonably good price.
The fronts are 8.5" and the rears are 9.5".
Once I got home, I started disassembling them...
The centers and inner lip were sent to the powdercoater, which then sandblasted them and gave them a nice coat of gloss black for the inner lips and gloss silver with metal flakes for the centers. It set me back about 260€, but I had to go and tape them up myself, which took me about 8 hours!
I stripped the laquer of the outer lips and gave them a good machine polish myself, as well as the original OZ bolts.
As for the new tires, I chose for the Falken FK452 again in 215/35/18, and those were about 550€ installed.
Then came the custom hubcentric adapters, which were made by Concept Wheels and are 25mm wide, CNC machined to my specs. These babies set me back another 650€...

After all of this spending, the result was stunnishing, if I say so myself...
Though I have been a bit greedy, as I wanted to get the car lower as well, but this would now require more fender and bumperwork to be done.
As I recently bought a house, this will have to wait...

                      Thanks man...
                      I think so too...
Just hope I can afford the bumper/fenderwork needed in order to lay frame with these wheels someday

Hey KuP, my kit was custom made for the car, and as I stated before, I mad the kit myself!
Don't know of any bolt on airride kits for the 207.
                                Love your wheels

Everything from my car is for sale BTW :p
