4-1 headers are the worst for ground clearance, by the way. Haha It looks like you discovered that, though! This is only temporary though because lack of funds haha.

If you noticed how I welded the two runners together from the inside...
once we cut the plate to fit..and welded it up... the bottom runners... become one big runner. so its like..a 4-3-1 header.
Theres about a 1in gap between the plate welded to the bottom and the welds on the inside of the header.

Update..
Well i drove the eg all the way to my work today to get the exhaust done.
Although it was very loud(open header) and the alignment is extremely far off(newly installed manual steering rack) I still loved every bit of it.
Tomorrow its going back to the paint shop for some touch ups and buffing then back home for the slammage!
Here is some work we did to the header..
I originally wanted to use the stock header and probably will in the future I just have to track down someone who has the bottom piece to it because my motor came without it. So in the meantime I bought a cheap and very crappy ebay header. When i put it on it hung ridiculously low aka when i lowered the car it would have just sat on the ground. So we had to mod it.
And somehow i managed to forget to take a pic of the finished product but basically the plate you see in the first picture is welded to the bottom. It still sits very low but better.
Random pic outside the muffler shop.
This is a little update for the wagon

So we accomplished quite a bit today.
The car was driven for the first time since last july!!
We were having a problem with the engine idling high, took the chip out of the ecu that a guy chipped for me and its down to wear it should be.
Battery is now nicely located in the rear via some very thick wire and a 200amp fuse.
Here is a link to a video my friend took with his phone..
Belt squeals at the beginning that is now fixed, and bear in mind there is just an open header as of right now haha
