When it comes to W124's, theres only a few certain wheels which really work well with the car, the majority of them don't.

Oh I know this trust me, Ive ran nearly every AMG option out there, Aero II's, Monoblocks 17" and 18". I just like trying things that havent been done yet on a W124 hence the Sawblades and now the Porsche Twists.Originally posted by Niks View PostWhen it comes to W124's, theres only a few certain wheels which really work well with the car, the majority of them don't.

Looking forward to pics of the next set installed. The Porsche Twists (any version except the early Boxster twists) with the right fitment and ride height can make any car look incredible.
My first JDM project after decades of European cars!

That's my thoughts exactly! I've always loved them since the early dubbin days. I actually just emailed motorsport-tech about making the adapters, they made my set for my sawblades as well.Originally posted by exexpat View PostLooking forward to pics of the next set installed. Thats the only way which we will know what works and what doesn't, and thats to experiment! It'll be interesting to see how it looks, it could end up looking pretty good!Originally posted by AMGwheelwhore View PostOh I know this trust me, Ive ran nearly every AMG option out there, Aero II's, Monoblocks 17" and 18". well, I'm not sure about the porsche wheels.. I love the wheels, but I think they look good on Audi/VAG's, not on Mercs...

Thanks man, just waiting on adapters, and then new rubber.Originally posted by Krolik View PostWell, this got my attention. Can't wait to see how it all turns out.
I agree, but the W124 body lines should work quite well with the wheel style.Originally posted by a3 german View Postwell, I'm not sure about the porsche wheels.. I love the wheels, but I think they look good on Audi/VAG's, not on Mercs...

Got bored and did not feel like working out so I did some test fitting... Sorry for the shitty Iphone quality camera was dead and did not feel like charging it.
Porsche Turbo Twists, used the wrong sized adapter in the rear but still cleared with the 20mm v/s the 25mm adapter ha.

Reverse Mounted Enkei's with 20mm adapter poked like a mofo kinda cool though might not sell them after all.

And finally my Work Ewing's w/ 20mm adapters, I just SOLD them but test fitted them for shits and gigs anyway.

Thanks man it's a constant work in progressOriginally posted by fromthelbc View Posti am truly jealous of your wheel collection.
The poke is just way to much even if I were to roll my fenders. I might put them on this w123 I might buy off my buddy.Originally posted by softg View Postdo some intense fender work and make those epsilon's fit proper with some serious low

Bought some more wheels today on a whim...
Second set of 18" Staggered E55 Monoblocks except these are OEM quality. Still haven't decided if I want to keep them and run 18x9's all around or post them up on eBay or benzworld. Standard 18x8 18x9 onto the pics.
