So i cut another coil up front...and it dropped the front about a quarter of an inch i swapped grills back to the jurbo grill. I also took some of the stickers off....will be leaving the white ones though.

What size tires you guys think would be best to run when summer comes, so i can buy them over the winter....16x8 and 16x10? Thanks!

lopping a coil should take ~1.5" out of it...let it settle.

The nose looks entirely too busy with that lip, just looks stacked. I'm sure New Jersey plows their own roads in the winter, you don't need to do it yourself.

Glad you've taken the advice given to heart and have good things on the way. While I've not ever been a fan of 700s, I'll keep my eye on this one.

Also, pics of the interior please. Every 700 here in New Mexico is either blue garbage interior or a tan pleather deathtrap, I'm interested to see the houndstooth greyscale.

First 2 and a half coils i cut dropped the front end alot! Then a few months after i cut another...and it raised my ride high about an inch....Then cut another yesterday....Thats around 4-4 and a half, total cut and its still about as low as it was from cuttin the first 2. So idk ill give it a couple days to let it settle then ill cut another one.

So you cut coils, ride height dropped. Cut more, and ride height went up? Huh?

Sounds like the springs aren't seating or the bumpstops are holding him up. Cutting coils won't raise a car by itself... ever.

If you cut rear coils, it can raise the front based on redistribution of weight and vice versa, but that is a only rationale explanation of any scenario that would involve spring cutting and part of the car being raised.

Springs are seated, and isn't hitting the bumpstops yet. I cut 3 coils in the rear the first time and haven't touched them since...I dont understand it either, but i will cut another coil this weekend when im free again, an cut bumpstops in half!

Do you guys think paint match bumpers would look good? Ive seen it done on these cars in different colors but never really in white?

you gotta remember you put monster truck tires on it too after cutting the first couple times. that'll raise it up a little bit.. i cut 1.5 coils on my car, and with 185/60/15 tires, it looks like it sits muchhh lower than your wagon...

imho, the black adds a nice contrast to the HUGE white wagon body.. plus, it would be hard to match the bumpers exactly with the o.g. paint. again, imho, i think the accordian style bumpers look like poo when they're painted. if you had the 90+ bumpers or an SE bumper or something, color matching them would make it look good..

                              • wiring harness is shot, so i have to go pick up another tomoro.....thinking about trying to shave the engine bay a little bit...fill in and bondo spot welds around strut tower, hide battery and washer bottle with welded in plates...maybe with 14 guage sheet metal.

Not my car but kind of a drawn out idea....

red square will be plated flat(on both sides)?
greeb dotted will be moled with sheetmetal and filled smooth?
