That or hammer them out then skim some filler over them to smooth them but the problem is you basically tried to pull the metal too far. You'll find that to get it to flare out but stay at the correct level you need to either weld in more/new metal or do cuts every so often around the arch, splay them out, then weld in more metal in between and then slight filler over that..

i like the colour on the wheels though, looks sweet
thanks dude, yeah def will be getting the guards done at some point, as I want the whole car pannel and painted once im happy with it, need to spray the bay too

I dont really get why you would have to get another car? Your arches def need some more work but its nothing that cant be done! Your options are either to pull them more or try to get them back to the point they were before - which i wouldnt recommend as its way more work and your fronts would still rub.

Went by backspace, 15x8 and 3"from the centre of the wheel where it meets the hub to the back of the rim

Well with laws here in NZ getting more strict, I do not want to have to buy another civic just because of the arches haha it would never get to where this civic is, the rear arches like you is the only thing that gets me down on the car, so weather I take it to a pannel beater and see what he thinks or wider wheels!
