  • pretty crazy suspension setup there. im gonna throw out an opinion here.... you shoulda used a 90-97 accord dual tap coilover and throw a uas sleeved bag over it with 88-91 civic UCA's (it will also add more camber -2 or more, on top of whatever it is now) it would probably get that low without chopping the strut tower, less hassle and time, but little more money. IMO. but crazy job to say the least and for $200 for the car, f' it. i also have an ody also and used to have an accord wagon with that setup, minus the bags. maybe you can just use the 88-91 civic UCA, prob get you another inch lower wid more camber

            • can you just lay a thin layer of bondo over the texture of the fenders and then smooth it out and then wrap that?

                • So, we've got some updates here on this good 'ol HandCarved Odyssey.

Recently the management was upgraded from hardcore manual to baller Auto Pilot v2. Although it's in manual mode 100% of the time (by choice), no more bag farts occur in the cockpit. BEHOLD!

Johnny located a pretty badass spot for mounting the manifold. His skills are unrivaled. His expression shows effortlessness.

We know our boys at Honda were thinking ahead, or maybe even foreseeing the future 'cause this was a damn-near perfect fit. All mounted up and looking OEM, lines were re-routed and plugged into the manifold.

Next up on the list of get-low-goodies were some exclusively returned Bilstein sport shocks. Designed for a B5 Passat, modified to fit.
By 'modified' I mean very carefully drilled to accept the larger diameter bolts required by this beast of a minivan.
It was once a monster van after all. Now it's a race van.
With the lowness previously had, OEM shocks weren't cutting the cake and were pretty much beat. Later donated/demoted to the 'spare parts' box.

Basically the bitch got a complete ASS-LIFT(or slam rather). Old bags were rubbing, Defrost was in the next few days and that was a haul from sunny Vermont. Needless to say, we didn't want to run into an expected problems.

                  You know what that means:

OH BINGO! Fresh rubba' 'fer dat No-Blow Low-Low.
Ready to toss the bags in, we probably took a break.

Rubbing still had yet to be solved. In Handcarved's case, there wasn't much we could do other than surgically remove the issue. Here, John sleeps while Will gets into the surgery. Too much coding for the guy. 'IT'LL BE FINE!'

Will got real into it, so he decided it was a good idea to try and get the front lower. Not much more low achieved.

That about sums up the latest 'good' stuff. A teaser shot for you of one of many mods to come. Because you love it.
