  • N/A R32 Skyline Hard Parker

This is my first ever car. A 5 speed 1993 r32 gts.
I'm from Australia and the due to the laws, I have to go non turbo. Stance is also pretty much considered illegal but thats a different story!

Got myt P-plates on my 18th birthday and was driving a Mercedes 190-E for a couple months while working full time to buy an AE86. Until this came up within my budget. Went and had a look at it, and it was sitting in my driveway the next day.
Bought the car completely stock, apart from a pod filter, disgusting height, shit paint and a flaking/peeling clear coat.

Now next with no clue about width and offset, just clearly about '17's or 18's?'. I bought these random wheels off eBay with the same stud pattern lol. They were originally white with chrome lip.

After that I bought a set of 2nd hand coilovers, Tein HA for the fronts and KEI Office rears. Also bought reddy/pink wheel nuts

I like to think I got the car looking alright once I put the coils in...
But then I took it for a drive. Me not knowing much about cars at the time I just bought the coilovers. Turns out the gas in the rears where dead, thus making me drive a trampoline with wheels

So I took the rears out and chucked the stock springs and shocks back in.
Stumbled across the 'Bunnings DIY garden edging lip', now with my lack of love for the paint and body I started to drill holes in the front bar.

Car was looking like that for a good couple months.

Bought 6k HID's for the low beams and fog lights.

With the paint on my boot being the worst of the whole car, I sprayed it in chalk board paint.

Did little to no prep work so it didnt come up very well

Always had it in my mind to buy new coilovers but kept putting it off so I took on some extra shifts to grab some brand new BC BR's.

Started following the whole hellaflush/stance scene for a while now and the whole 17x7.5 +42 was burning my eyes.

Picked up these 17x9 +12 and 17x9.5 +12 Rota Grids in sports bronze.

Didn't realise how much they would stick out but decided I'd go with it anyway and see how long I last before I get dicked.

Test fitted them and it didnt seem so bad!

Again with the lack of care for the paint I started to roll my guards with a trusty metal pole and a heat gun. Rear guards were tough so just used a hammer

Made my way to Winton Race Track on the weekend and atteneded the 'Fun Day'.
Was the first time on a track and was awesome fun to see how my car handled around corners on it. This is how the car sits at the moment 3/7/11

True, it really is! Put a little more work in it, try some good buffing and paint that trunk again! Even spray paint can look right if its polished afterwards
I def like the color and it does have a lot if potential!

      Do the rears rub?

The R32 is my all-time favorite car, love to see one pop up here! It could use some wide overfenders and wide QP's Diggin' the car buddy, waiting for more!

          Some inspiration

Thanks man. Yeah it was lower but I had to make it higher just to be safer on the track lol

The boot is definitely on the cards, perhaps this weekend. I rolled the rears pretty much flat so not really, the front scrubs the most.

looks awesome dude, good to see that not every skyline owner in australia has to put a stupid looking body kit and 20x6 wheels on their car.

                            Hey mate,
Deadset looking for a an N/A R32 is becoming virtually impossible for me haha.
How much did yours set you back when you first bought it? I sorta need to know if I would be paying to much is all.

                            Cheers

Hey, yeah it was even pretty hard when I got mine. Was listed under Gts-t and all it said in the ad was 'urgent sell' haha. It was up for $4,500 but got him down to $3.8. In Australian dollars of you're wondering.
