    • 3 piece wheels physically can't be built for that cheap. The machining time and engineering that goes into it costs far more then most understand. Pricing is going to be slightly less then the competition is all I can say at the moment.

Quality 3 piece 6061 wheels sit in the 4k-9k range currently for a set under just about every company out there. My numbers will be in soon but in this case pricing really depends on what's done to the set. It's all about the custom details.

      • yeah that makes sense.. I was thinking about the pricing of CCW wheels, but they probably machine all their own stuff. Well, I want a set of spinfabs to eventually hit the hubs of this car :wink. I love your designs and attention to detail. You're truly a great craftsman.

        • yeah even ccw charges more then that nowadays.. but they also have a huge market support (and i mean huge) way outside of our small import bubble. Sales from vw people wanting ccw wheels probably accounts for 0.003 percent of their sales. haha

                    • thanks guys. Since Im not yet a forum sponsor (have been speaking on and off with mike) ill keep it to a minimum on here with regard to the wheels.

head over to the blog for constant updates on projects, and if you want to get hold of me for a prioject, info@spinfab.net

back to the fairlady. so some things are going back together, some things are coming back apart. haha

taking apart- decided to get going on the upper radiator support, so pulled out the hack saw and started chopping..

putting together- got some powder on just about everything for now including the upper coolant pipe, the tanks, the vin plate, and started to get a bit overboard and powdercoated the bumper support and mounts. haha

here is a quick pic to hold you over for the day...

                      • h8ers are pretty hysterical sometimes. I have no idea why, but this one member on the forum for some reason really wants to see me fail on some level. Never met the guy (dont even know if he is a guy or a girl to be honest) never worked with him or anyone he is associated with (to my knowledge) but for some reason every chance he gets to comment on or bash my work, he seems to take hold of it... His attempt at bashing seems to be on multiple forums now too..

Doesnt bother me really, but I have no idea why someone would comment when they have no validity to do so... Moral of the story is that the internet is a strange place... and some people have problems.

just a little rant. back to the car. busy week at the office and not too much night progress on the cars, but this weekend shall give me some time to get back onto it. 4 weeks till my take on the "start of the season"

                        • One of the best builds on here.
I really enjoy looking at this.
I hope i can get my car on a level like yours,
                          if that is even possible...

About that guy there is a nice saying:

                          • Jealousy is an ugly emotion man. Some people that don't have the ability to do what you do will find any way they can to try and bring you down to their level. Sounds like it's not affecting you much, which is the proper way to handle it

Will they rotate in the same direction on both sides of the car?
