The new wheels, in true stance style I have just picked up a set of genuine WORK Euroline SE 20" wheels!
        Front: 20x8.5" (et35)
        Rear: 20x9.5" (et40)
Now once fitted they stick just out the guards....perfect!! Was thinkin of runnin a 225/30/20 front tyre and 245/30/20 rear to not only get the wicked stretched look but keep the tyre inside the wheel arch. Here is some pics of the trial fit, once fitted they will have a custom paint scheme to match the new paint going on the car.

Suspension will be sorted once wheels are on, still unsure if I am baggin it or just custom springs! Can't get it done until wheels and tyres are on. Oh I **** waiting!

Just deciding on the paint now, car is definitely going matte/satin white with a gloss black roof. Wheels I am still undecided
Option 1: matte white spokes and black lip
Option 2: gloss black spokes with matte white lip
Option 3: gloss black with white highlights
            Option 4: all black
Option 5: white lip and inner edge with black front of spokes
Please can everyone give me some feedback! I like them all!

I need everyone's opinion, have decided to get the roof done in vinyl, that's right, trimmed in vinyl, it's an old school look but I think with the matte white paint it's going to be insane! What is everyone's thoughts?

Not a fan of the wheels or your plans for them and your colour scheme plans for the car personally.

20s sound too big for an A4 to me, and all of those wheel refurb options look kinda bad if I'm honest. Last one does look best but it still wouldn't look as good as just a simple polished lip with a white centre or something. Gold studs to give it some depth.

I'll hold back an opinion on doing it matte/satin white until I see it done. Sometimes looks shit hot, others it just looks shit. So good luck with that one, I look forward to seeing where you take this next.

x2 you're gonna run into problems while lowering it...

Thanks for the feedback, as this is just going to be runaround car now I am happy to do some wheel arch mods to get it low! I have a little passion for big wheels, its my thing, I like to do things to vehicles when people say that its not possible. Toyota Prado on 26s, Suzuki Swift on 20s, VW Kombi on 22s, and get them low!! The Audi was always going to have wide and offset rims I just couldn't bring myself to fit 18s on it, 20s definately look heaps better but thats just my personal opinion. I know some of you don't like the vinyl roof idea and it wasn't my first choice but its different, and thats what counts in such a car. Will keep you all posted with updates.

Nobody said it wasn't possible to run 20s on the A4. It's just going to look terrible. There's a reason people don't do it.
I will be unsubscribing to this thread after I press submit, as I don't want to have anything to do with 20s on a B5.

I will not unsubscribe this yet, but i just don't think that it will work. Why is that? - 'cos if my calculations (click to see them) serve me correctly your 20's with the tires of your choice are way to big (+1") in diameter. Example size used is tried-and-tested optimal size for rear wheel and tire. And of course becase you got no stretch the wheels can not be outside of the fenderline. And why you can't pull fenders - because b5 rear arches are notoriously shitty things to pull out cleanly. Have a look at the position of your rear doors? Pretty close to the arch right? No wonder the rs got different doors... Basically you can make them fit - but you can't make the car really low and you can't get the fitment right. Maybe some kind of a train-look? Big wheels sitting deep inside the arches? That might work but it's not to my liking.

Anyway I hope you the best! Surprise me.
