Sitting down nicely now, with the re-5's and original brakcets it was barely tucking whitewall. The brackets have been cut down 1.5" now.

and some fancy garage shots via iphone. thanks dan!

After the front bags were swapped from Airhouse 2's to Re-5's I lost some drop up front as they don't compress as much as the Airhouse did.

Cheers to Dan for the work he put in so far pulling the bag's (vacuum air out of bag to compress and pull em straight out of the control arm. good thinking)

Cutting perhaps 1" give or take on the brackets to get some more drop back - while also making sure clearance is still kept to prevent rubbing

    sucking the air out..

    update soon with new pics

I'don't mind that's been repainted, they really took the time to do it well too, all the shuts trunk and engine bay are painted nicely...can't wait to slam and cruise it. I have an old school choice of rims in mind but I'll definitely keep the stock rims and caps.

You must have a blast cruising in yours, I took mine for a 5 min test drive and the attention it got was unbelievable!
get used to it i guess when I take mine out you can almost guarantee you'll end up having a chat with someone about it. it rides real nice on bags too I love it.

I should getting hold of it next week as I'm sorting insurance and what not. I live in Europe, so its euro spec and diesel, on a small island called Malta, if you notice its RHD. I'll start a topic when I'll start working on it
awesome. dude who cares if it aint original color, it looks like its been painted same as mine "172 G Anthracite" based off the photo's which is a Mercedes color from those years. Don't quote me on it but thats a good place to start if you wanna ever try and find touch up paint.

Enjoy it! make sure you inspect all rubber hoses especially for fuel, should be replaced if they have never been re-done just to be safe
