  • The SLO KART: From zero to hero. (56K now way!)

So I've lurked for a while and decided to make a thread on here. It started out as a $400 non running, non titled Miata, with a ripped top, no fuel pump, toasted clutch, dead battery, and the molded body kit. It's come a long way.

    Flamesuit on.

The original owner, when he bought it.

    Where things went wrong.

    How I first saw it:

Good move on getting rid of that God awful kit from the get go!]

Nice progression so far, future plans after the turbo?

I'd be a fan of the polished bonnet...dunno why but it grabs me

Looks good, especially in the second to last pic. Not sure about the hood. The car could definitely use paint though. Those rockers need some attention. I like the wheels though.

Thanks, yeah it didn't see the road until it had the lip, wheels and that kit off, and turbo's on hold, for the 240 I just bought. Making another drift car finally

Thanks man, and I know it does. Its from the molded kit that was on there, and it will be fixed in time.

Wow I love those blue wheels did you happen to order those from Speedway Motors? Nice miata overall.

The body kit was left in a backyard to be over-run with grass, before it was sent to the landfill. And the wheels are actually from Summit

                        Polished hood is pretty neat!

I really like where this car is going, although I likes the OGs better than the steel wheels. But hell, anything is better than what you bought it like!

                        Keep it up man.

That polished hood is awesome! I was actually thinking of doing that with my trunk, now its been done...

Love the blue 13's, love that you have saved this car from a bleak existence.
