well, im confused, but heres more updates. today, i FINALLY got rid of my sub box, cut a hole in the metal plate behind the seats, mounted my sub into there, removed the arm rest in the center console, wrapped and re-installed the c-pilars, and cut out the old head liner cause it was bugging the shit out of me.

    enjoy.

almost done with what i want to do as a DIY, im gonna send it off to the upholstery shop to have them do the rear deck and the headliner, too much of a hassle for me. suspension is here tomorrow. im ordering camber arms in the near future.

yea, its not completely done, i have to make a small box for the sub so it'll be super loud.

teaser. just got back from lunch, the back is done, doing the front in the next couple hours, building the sub box right now while my lunch digests.

weird thing though, the passenger side shim pad was 23mm, and the driver side was 9mm... wtf?

My question is though, what are you using as a box? did you just mount the box onto the metal your sub is installed on?
Or are you going "free-air" and using your trunk as a super-humungous-over-the-top box?
i cut a hole into the metal plate, then reemed in the sub, much like you reem things into your hole.

If you're referring to the spring pad, that's fine, that's what they are for. They range in size to even out the car if it's slightly leaning to one side.

but from factory they come with the same spring pad from both sides, correct?

technically, they should, but for some reason, mine didnt? they look the same, but have different part numbers.
