plenty of power, and same size as the l16.
Just make the oil pan smaller, just do a little chop chop. As far as the valve cover goes, cut out part of the hood so they can see your valve cover, it will make it's coolness level go over 9000

I'm liking the look of that engine...Fits the cars rat rod theme. Tho I doubt you are keeping it like that.

i think i both **** and love this. lol ok i mostly love it. cant wait to see it done. Is the long term plan to keep it rusted or will you be replacing metal and getting it painted?
Have you tried turning that engine yet? Dont think you will have much luck with it but my fingers are crossed for you.

Modified steering arms for a race 510,,, to match the raised LCA's on the crossmemeber... (before I hacked it up, to raise it more) ...
The front control arms are raised at least 3" higher than stock ... ... and the crossmember is about 2" higher than a stock 510
Stock Datsun Mcpherson struts shortened 4 inches with KONI race inserts ...... No air bag would fit...

The oil pan is on the ground,,,,, and the valve cover's hitting the hood: ...
Moving the motor back towards the firewall...
The steering is hitting the oil pan,,,,,,,,nothing a sawzall can't fix ......
The motor is moved back 3 inches from stock,, and raised 2" ... .. . it "might" fit under the stock hood
.... .. I've been thinking about other motors though, . I'd love to hear some comments or ideas
