A couple of updates to my project:

a new set of style 5 wheels, wider in the back and new low profile tires... Wheels are 8J up front x 9J in the back with 205/40/17 tires up front and 215/40/17 in the back.

In these last months I've also bought an LTW rear wing and replaced the car's engine and almost everything else from the car in the technical department.

Happy new year guys! Best of luck in everything you do in 2012!!

First regarding the suspension, it's currently on something from FK Automotive but I'm going to change it in about 2 months with another suspension from Raceland that should lower the car even more. Next, I've already bought a couple of sweet center caps, still with BMW on 'em but with a carbon fiber effect, pics below.

In the meantime, my car went through A LOT, including a serious crash back in November Here are a couple of photos with the updates from the last months.

            Then this happened:

The car's front side was trashed completely... had to get a new hood, front bumper, grille, headlights, fog lights, side panels, radiators and many more but in 2 weeks it was back and running.

Then I've bought a completely new interior, //m steering wheel, new dials and almost finished the interior of the car.

            Then a new exhaust

The carbon fiber BMW badges for the wheels and car as well.

            What's next?

In about 2 months the car will get a new paint, Laguna seca Blau and many other small upgrades.. I hope it will be finished in March.

                      Thanks mates

I'm back with a couple of updates to my project... Next week it's going to be fully painted in Laguna Seca Blue and.. I really hope it's going to be a wicked combination. To be honest I've never seen an e36 painted in Laguna Seca Blue with RED wheels but I have a feeling it's going to turn out pretty well.

In the meantime I've installed the new steering wheel

Then I've wrapped the roof covering? (no clue if that's the right term) into black cloth. I still have to paint the lamps, sun visors and so on into black next week.

With all these the interior is almost done. The wheels were also re-polished and received the carbon bmw badges.

And now.. I can't wait to see it painted

please, headliner is the preferred nomenclature dude

gotta love insurance and then doing the work yourself, just making assumptions. gonna look the business for sure when it's put together after paint

would've been real trick to see the headliner and door cards work in that blue from the vaders somehow, stitching?

by the way, what'd you drop in for a motor?

Yes, I finally know it's called headliner haha! I've thought about it for a while and couldn't find the right term.. The light blue line from the Vaders is actually made from cloth, not stitching, from a soft, velvet-like material that couldn't go on the headliner because it's too thick. But I've thought those light blue lines from the seats will go with the car's light blue exterior (laguna seca) and the rest would be blacked out (headliner, door cards).

The engine is pretty small, 1.8is m44 which has like 140PS so it's not that great but it's ok for now.

After a couple of weeks, my car has been finally repainted in Laguna Seca Blue.. I totally love this color, it goes from ultra light blue when the sun it up to greenish-blue when the sun sets and to pretty dark blue at night. It's quite a crazy color and I think this might be the only e36 in the world painted in Laguna Seca with red wheels. Red and blue are my favorite colors, that's why I wanted it like this.

It's not finished yet, I still have to add a lot of things (fog lights, plastics at the door handles and many more) during the next week or so and then I hope I can come up with a proper photoshoot for it. Here are a couple of pics from these last 2 days.
