Even though the coils don't sit in the perches when there is no weight on the car, when you put it back on the ground go slow and line up the springs in the perches, then you'll be set.Originally posted by Matt View Postdon't have the skills to do that.
put the fronts in today plus clipped off 1.5 coils.

it's settled lower than that. should i be hearing clunking noises and shit? the springs dont really seat in the top.

there are these things called circle tracks which put on far better racing with much cheaper cars.

Eh, it's alright.
got it like this, $300.

got it running, was a dead battery with a faulty AMM and a bad ignition control module

got it registered and bought brand new corner lights, two of my white wheels were frozen on my other car from the salt, so i couldnt run all four.

then i just painted the grille black

and now it's how you see it.

Guest repliedYeah, frankly, it looks shite. But that's hardly fair since you're in the middle of working on it. Once you get the front done, that alone will fix the big issue and I think it'll look pretty mean. Sort of like a wagon for the apocalypse. From the photos it looks like it's in real good shape, yeah?
