  • picked up tires for the ARE's today

They're currently out getting a full clean and semi refurb. When they get back I'll have them mounted and stuff.

            • Torqued everything down better and took it out for a spin. Rears rub so much. Need to roll the fenders more. Maybe a slight pull. Waiting on better lugs now. First time out, two younger dudes complimented me on it, and an older guy just did a lap of it while I was inside with confused looks on his face.

I take picture from the back because I feel like it's more visually appealing and you can't see the hood that resembles the surface of the moon.

              Skirts are out for paint.

                • Nah, nothing ridiculous. Most likely just a small twin chrome tipped system, like so:

Got the same exact bodykit as this one too, so yeah.

                  • Took it out last night, picked up a fender roller.

Launched the LF centercap to the moon while on the highway. Heard it go and then immediately pulled over and looked for it at 10:30p.

Found it in the left shoulder on the opposite side of the highway.

                    Nice.

                        • Replaced the thermostat, lower rad hose, and installed a Ford heater control valve and un-looped the coolant hoses to the heater core.

Planned on doing the rear brakes too, but ran into some trouble with a previous rounded off nut that got super worse to the point where I had to go out and buy a rotary tool to cut it off. This is what said nut looked like after it was removed:

                          • I still **** this thing. Goddamn water pump is leaking again. Runs like ass. Need to replace the WP, and do a cap and rotor and probably a coil as well. Maybe put a new MAF in too considering the one that's on it is a million miles old. I really need a garage.

                              • Had a really good laugh about the center cap flying off. Know that was awhile back but just read up on this now. Had that happen with a windshield wiper, when it was raining really hard. People driving by give lots of confused looks.
