Nice Jetta! I like everything but the rounds. The Jetta front looks so much better to me.

    Sucks about your adapters too.

Thanks for the offer man, but Florida is kinda far for me to go pick up a set of seats! I'm in Canada.

hmm not too sure.... run the steels over winter, get any bits sorted that need sorted up then get the adaptors come spring and time for the new show season

    ps good luck! Jetta's FTW!

I'm trying to think of a solution to this problem without breaking the bank. I have plans for the car over the winter like every year, but I have a limited budget and I can't blow all of it on a second set of adapters. First idea when just found out and was angry was to sell the wheels right away to fund a turbo setup. Then I tought of buying new adapters. Problem is, new adapters will run me around 400$. Maybe new billets and proper machining is the way to go.

Now all I can say is

The holes on the adapters are off.

They got machined wrong (by another guy). Sooooo, 170$ of billets just got thrown out of the window. The only thing right on those is the centerbore for the Porsche wheels and the thickness. I mean, you can't even bolt them solidly onto the hub. They are 4x104 and 5x132 instead of 4x100 and 5x130. Still, I tapped a couple holes into one of them just to see at least what would the wheel look like on the car.

However, I found and repaired a water leak that would flood my fusebox everytime it rained.

And I got some free vinyl...

    ...to fix my b-pillars

Now I got to order new, high-quality adapters if I ever want to run those wheels. Any suggestions? Adaptec makes them, but only in 2-piece!?
475$ wheels slowly turning into 1700$ wheels...

Hey look what just came out from the CNC today at work.

I still have to make a few passes with the manual lathe and tap the holes. However I'm leaving right now for vacation in NJ so this will have to wait till next week!

Haha, at least you're lucky, my Golf got some rust right under the left taillight and under the bumper, not to mention the trunkdoor...
