Will be picking up a e46 armrest and center console. Gonna retrofit it to fit. Or atleast try. It's been done before,so i know its possible Requires some cutting/fiberglassing/painting to make it look right, but it looks almost stock, when done right. Reason for it: Girlfriend hates the fact that my car doesn't have cup holders, I just tell her to stop bitching...but I **** that it doesn't have an armrest. So, this will make both of us happy. And i guess cup holders would be nice.

Small update, more to come. So far, I've only installed my little m-tech strip on the steering wheel. Got some M-tech flow in the car now It's all in the subtle details right?

Another thing I thought was really cool. My parking permit at school(SJSU) has a e30 vert on the back of the sticker.

So, today was a nice day and had some time to work on my car. I still have to install my adjustable cam gear, m50 injectors, and replace my drivers side headlight lens. (I have it). My fog light is cracked too and plan on getting new lenses for those as well. And I need to adjust them so they sit nicer in there.
    Here's what i did today
masked off my car to touch up my valence cuz there were hundreds of rock chips.

    Looks loads better
Then finally got some protection ejknights skid plate

    Painted my iS lip

    Attached Ryan G Splitter

Then installed on car I LOVE IT!

I'm low, i ripped off my lip within 10 mins of installing it backing out of my driveway. Sucks. I gotta be super careful now.

Just repeat, low and slow. Haha.

I did some measuring. I have 23 1/8" from ground to fender up front, 22" in rear. From ground to iS lip= 3.5" and skid plate to ground = 2.5".

    But I am HAPPPPPPYYYYY!!!!!

I will get some better pics of whole car soon after I wash it, its filthy right now.

Fenders are rolled, waiting to figure out what spacers to get, along with tires. The 10 mm ain't cutting it, i know. I think i can use like 5mm more up front too. so would that make my final offset 10 in back and 15 up front? How's final offset work...

this is what you should do. measure the backspacing on the wheels without the spacers. then with them and see how many inches you have to play with between the fender/current rim setup

Those are only 1/2" wider than mine! I'm not all snobby about real/fake wheels. I'm down for esm's (fakes rs's). Same look, to the untrained eye, and my wallet can stay filled. Im a college student, money comes in, but I have a lot going out. Don't have 1000's to blow. Yet

I wanna work with what I have now. I also plan on getting a b6/b7 audi avant and bag it, so if I keep spending so much on my e30, I'll never get that. We'll see what happens.

Yeah. Agreed, that's probably what's gonna happen, i want the Keskin KT1 classics in 8.5x17 and 10x17 for the rears. But it's like 1500$ if I had that money, Which i dont,( just bought a MacBook pro) I would save another 1000 and try toget an s50 (e36 m3 engine) swap. Or, if I knew I can get away with it, turbo...any bay area peeps have a "smog" guy?

fuck i want an e30 again...
if i was you, then i would just keep those wheels and tires. and save for a new set to roll on for the streets, and keep the others for autox.
    looks good man.

185 sounds like too much stretch? I don't want a crazy aggressive stretch, i mean, the more stretch the less performance right? I do plan to take this car to AutoX and stuff, and can't afford a spare set of wheels, so i need them to be okay for messing around at autox's. It's also a daily driver.

i was thinking 195 would be a verymild stretch. Guess i gotta look at what 185 vs 195 looks like on a 16x7
