Don't post much on here but come along every day to check out the awesome rides on here.

Thought I'd share my daily ride with you.

Its a MK1 Astra Estate

My new daily. I've also got a MK1 van thats under going a long a long overhaul. Anyway.

Picked this little one up from ebay, got 4 trains to pick it up and then drove all the way back home untroubled the 200mile trip.

Its got nearly 60K on the clock and this could well be the actual mileage. its never been welded and it in great condition.

Only things wrong with it are rear wiper don't work and front passenger side water jet don't work and the headrest on the drivers side is wrong. So no major issues.












Then got offered a free wrap so got this done for a bit of fun

Then after that started to use it as my daily driver and have fitted a stereo and a fag lighter. Also had a major issue with it running right so I gave it a service and still didn't run right.

Found a Weber carb on Ebay so got that and a rebuild kit and fitted that. Now runs perfect with no problems.

Have been using every down now for six months with no problems.


The major mods started as I got the chance to have it wrapped for free so thought why not and ended up with this....





Then last week decided to lower it, so it now sits like this





Still need to get the cash together for some better rims and can get it to sit right on them

I dont know if I like the wrap yet. But I do like that its kinda subtle instead of something bright, obnoxious and seizure inducing

Not many people do like it but I do and thats all that matters.

Did take some time to get used to though, but for free I can't moan

I shouldn't like it, but it works. The subtle colours, plus the fact its not fucking camo for once!

The wrap is awesome, and a set of banded steelies and MOAR LOW will defo help!

thanks for the comments guys.

Does get alot of double take looks as you can't really see the skulls at first look.

I agree with the amber will be putting them back on to see what it looks like also going to remove the white lines from the grille.

Also fit a matching pair of rear lights as ones not right.

Also going to fit some speakers in the rear and probably a sub and amp in a suitcase

Right then small up date time

Had some time yesterday, so gave it a clean. Fitted the bumper back on properly, fitted a proper rear light onto the drivers side as it had one from a hatch

Then changed the grill to a all black one and fitted the ambers back on

I know you can say it over trying it and to scene etc etc, but its what I always had planned since I got the car and also wrapped the fuel cap and rear view mirror





Just need to get back from my travels in the summer then I'll be able to afford the wheels I want and its finished

Absolutely loved the wrap. Subtle, well executed, and great color scheme. Thumbsup.

I'm not really a fan of the exterior sticker bombing, personally. It just draws the eye away from the car and the cool wrap.
