The Quest to Stance a Volvo

Picked these up so I can go lower in back. 8" 450#.

Makes me want one again lol. I grew up on volvos, its all my pops ever drove till this day. lovin the progress in for final outcome.

Came home today after class and these arrived. About 22 hours after I placed an order for them!

Wheels are very close to being done. My plan is to primer them then have the tires mounted. Then paint the wheels. I ordered the Falken 512's in 205/45-17 today and they should be here Monday. Hoping to have these on the car by the end of next week! Then I just have to get spacers out the wazoo and some shorter rear springs to bring the ass end down and adjust the fronts down some more.

A wise body shop foreman once told me "you cant fill the grand canyon with bondo. No more than 1/8 inch thick ever"

Good advice. That's why I filled it with metal filler first. As long as these hold up through the summer that's all I'm looking to get out of them.

Dude next time use liquid metal over bondo, bondo tends to crack when mounting tires onto the rims. Like the build so far keep it up!

Haha thanks. I think the white will be a pita to keep clean but will look sick. I'm the first person I've been able to find online to fill in fake bolt holes. There are a lot of wheels that wouldn't look bad with the holes filled. Really opens up options to some cheaper wheels.

Nah I think I'm good. If it was a stock bumper I'd love it but I'm trying to stay away from the XC route.
