so long time no update, but really I haven't done much to the car cause of I don't drive it much and cause of school But now i've been making some headway on the engine and I know some of you guys are a fan of the low riders drive a little slower but some of you guys like driving around like ALMS cars, what am I talking about, idk. Anyways here's some pictures of my engine build. I have way more but I mostly took them so I would know what parts go where and retrace my steps.


it started life out as a 351

this thing weighed 63lbs why so heavy

took out the push rods and labeled them



almost got everything I need off it



I got this thing for a good deal, the bolts had broken off that held the thermostat on it so I had to tap them out and stuff but good aluminum perf intake, only weighs about 10lbs I think so



harmonic balancer is out



fewl pump



taking the lifters owt, but prolly won't need those things anymore



camshaft is out



parts engine is almost deprived of the parts I need, so no more tear down shii

I'll try to keep this build thread at least updated with weekly updates until I get the thing built and put in the car and on a dyno, shooting for end of this month/beginning of the next

dude, I would love to have some of those updated items like the bumper and center grill, are those foglights in the front bumper?!

Those are the turn signals, but that does give me an idea for fog light placement now.
I actually planned on making molds of the bumpers and making fiber glass versions. Not sure if they mount the same, but new mounting holes would be easy enough to drill.
I might even have an extra grille or two around here somewhere.

Looks damn good! Try to get the paint to shine more. The inbetween paint style looks weird. Still looks good though!

not much of an update, but

here I am taking a pic at the gas station



and then at a local meet



plans are to buy wheels for it with my tax return money and then swap in new motor, maybe a manny tranny and then lower it a lil bit (after the wheels so it doesn't look so sunk in)

Yea it seemed kinda tame this year. We rolled out to the Iron Horse one night and it didn't even get real good sadly.

haha you guys drove right by us in the show, when you were checking out my older brothers funny hat I thought maybe you'd see my car and say what's up, but it was a different color and blah so w/e I saw you guys cruising by la playa also with the car going up and down looked killer
