  • RSX wants to play

Hey guys been lurking for awhile and researching. I figured I would finally start my build thread now that my car's starting to come along. lots of plans to come.

I bought my overpriced 06 base rsx 5sp last summer

    Mods

    17x9 et24 mustang sc replicas
    235/40/17 federal ss595

    Megan Racing rear camber arms
    Seibon OEM style CF hood
Cracked hood painted with chalkboard paint for fun!
    itr wing
    6000k hid kit
    blacked out emblem
    debadged rsx
    tinted windows
    ebay window visors

    DC sport header
    AEM cai
    short shifter
    stage 2 ACT clutch

When I first got her, first thing I did was black out the emblems

Then I picked up a cheap 240 for my brother. We were doing some body work and painting.

    Then came the coilovers!

    New ride height

You can see the blacked out tails. (bad idea)

    So dirty...

My friend backed into me and fckd up my hood and my bumper. You know what that means! CF

YAY! Unfortunately the first one came cracked so I waited 2 months and finally got my new one and they told me to keep the old one. Score

Hood on, but the fitment is just a little off but I'm pretty sure it was because the accident.

Hella rear camber. Stupid camber arms are rusted solid and won't break loose.

Sunken battle ship. About to change...

    Wheels! AAAAAgh Yeaaaaah

Crazy rubbing. nothing a bat and hair dryer can't fix.

    Yum

    New vs Stock

    Slight Stretch

    Tiny poke. for now...

    Ass shot!

    Front shot

That's all for now. Sorry for the crappy cell pics. I'll take some better shots once it stops raining. And some new ones with the chalkboard hood on. (Raining for almost 2 weeks straight)

    NO to the chalkboard hood.
But looks like damn good progress! I like where you're going with this.

I love how those look without those stupidbig fins.

lower it just a little more and you'll be golden, since its a base there is no sense trying to go fast

I would love to lower it all the way but it sucks cause Its my daily and I'm already getting stuck on speedbumps at work. I will most likely lower 1/2 inch so the tires tuck. And yeah no point in trying to make a base fast.

with your wing you can take it off and put electrical tape over the holes, and rock it for a bit and see if you like it, if not peel the tape and replace wing.

I'm going back to red tails. I want the jdm ones but they are pretty pricey. So i will just try and sand it down with 1000-2000 grit and polish.
