well this is my official build thread
well to start this off the car isnt mine lol i have an e36 m3, and my build is in the process too so there will be a thread on that soon but for now this is my lil bro's build he had money and decided to make his chic car a decent daily hahaha.
the car is a 2009 sizzling crimson mica scion tc.
the build could say started in november 2010, my bro was online and we decided to order some ksport control pro 36 way adjustable from th motorsports, (amazing service) order was processed quick, we ordered on a thursday night, they drop shipped from ksport and fedex delivered them on saturday morning.
well coilovers were chilling til december really did nothing to the car. then we ordered mb battles knowing they were 5x114.3 and that tcs are a gay 5x100 smh :snooty: our intent was to have them redrilled and get them powdercoated, when they arrived. we shortly realized that the hubsize was too big and there was no room to redrill em to 5x100, so we had to return them :[ . then our attention turned to the new xxr 527, and they fit the bill so the guys at america's tires gladly helped us out and changed our order. the order was officially placed january 25, 2011 we were like on the first batch of pre orders, we were expecting the wheels by the end of february, but sadly xxr had some issues, and we didnt receive em til april.
while we waited for the wheels my brother decided to order some weathertech window visors, and a roof spoiler, and random stickers, (not my thing) but whatever floats his boat.
ff to this weekend, we finally got tired mounted on the rims and did the necessary fenderwork on the car, the fronts were rolled flat and slightly pulled the rears were done in the same manner, with the addition of having to grind down the bumper mounting points and all that.
well now that you read so much time for pictures
first pic taken car was all stock, except for the coilover install at this point, srry for the blurry ass pic cell phone pic and me moving =sorry

the surprize these babies finally arrived

then we mounted tires on these babies, 215/40r18 hankook ventus v12's on an 18x9.75 rim

then a picture of the front on show the poke and the clearance the camber specs are unknown since we havnt put the car on the alignment rack yet but the camber plate are like one adujstment from full negative

then a pic of the rear tucking, the rear is rubbing alot right now, cant even throw someone on the back, so we are gonna add a lil more negative camber and stiiffen the dampners all around, they are only at the middle stiffness setting as of now.

heres a pic of the final product,

and a rolling shot taken by me

the car is done exterior wise except for maybe and exhaust, and a front lip, don't know yet, ohh and slightly tinting the windows for sure.
next phase of the project is the interior, the sound system is sure to be banging, everything else is still up in the air. hope you guys like it. :]
