so after selling that n deciding to buy a house ive got the bug again after having a year out n riding shotgun in my mates eks.
first off ive been obsessed with the u.s scene and a certion red eg (phaze 2) took me weeks to find out specs of what wheels he was running i.e sizes widths. i then made the decision to dive in and have a go at runnig how he was my self lol.
But if i copyed what he had done was pointless, i new what i wonted after riding in 2 last year, it had to be a facelift ek and i also wonted a b series in her , so a vti it was lol
first off i bought the 15" bbs rs wheels from a lad down london. 6.5 j all round



havent got any pics of the strip down but its prity simple, i then sent the centers off to mike the polisher in scottland along with 120 bbs studs to be 18 carrott gold plated, took about 2 weeks whitch gave me chance to find bigger lips n some tyres
heres the standerd the half inch lips




then i sourced 2x 3.0" inch lips for the front witch made it 9j
2x 3.5" inch lips for the rear witch make it 9.5j
that excited i dry built them in my living room lol.




i then bought a teg dc2 5 stud hubs fully striped them down new trailing arm bushes , camber arms, toe in arms, track rod ends, bottem ball joints, new discs n pads.

then set about getting a load of parts :-

braded hoses for bay

then came the time for a shell, looked at a few 1.4 at like £900 -£1100 and then do a b series swop, added it up and i was £2,500 in to a shell, then came across this vti at a dealers, was up for £2000 on the web ( dont take any notice of for sale sign) nocked him down to £1950.

next ive marked the bay of any holes i dont need, pulled the lump out n started welding n smoothing.
