So she's all done with my laundry list of projects for this winter. I got other little things that will get done soon, but the major stuff is over.
After driving her like she was for a few weeks, I finally got tired of my 01 fuel pump loosing pressure in turns, so I switched to a 02 tank and pump. I'm just happy I have to crawl under my car for me

Drove her around for another week or so and then one night on came the CEL and she was running on 2 cylinders. I tore into my wire tuck I did back earlier and found this...

So with that and the fact she was leaking oil from the valve cover and PCV box, I put her away again for a few weeks to get her done once and for all.
Before cleaning...

After...

Installed my SVT headers to mock up the EGR fitting...

Then after months of waiting I got my CF trunk lid! I offered up my OEM trunk lid for ED to make a mold from in trade for this.

The gold paint (it wasn't hi temp so no surprise) wasn't holding up on my plastic valve cover. So I prepped the old metal Contour valve cover and shot it with urethane good up to 300*.

This last Saturday I spent the whole morning installing everything for my header swap and the valve cover so I could run it over to the exhaust shop to have a larger flange put on. Here's the finished engine bay. Battery relocation is still possible just not in a hurry.

The headers, that will get wrapped.

Ran out in the rain to take some shot with a friend Saturday afternoon.

And between all the other happening this weekend I finally painted my custom hood.

I really love being able to see into my bay lol.

And thats where she is for now. I've put about 60 miles on her since the header swap and have no CEL's or issues so I'm really happy. The hood looks great IMO and really keeps the heat soak down. The next big undertaking will be coil overs and going lower. I have to get my wife's car finished up first tho.
