I'm trying to custom build a set of coil overs for my w210 Mercedes. It's dropped on cut springs at the moment (it's a 4matic and no one makes lowering springs or coil overs for it). And it rides like shit as the shocks are stock!
So I'm trying to find something compact that could work or be modified to work. The front needs come thing short, the back needs something thin. Are those 2" orb2.5" diameter springs?

These would be 2" springs. But good luck trying to find this system to modify. Focus Central went under about 6 years ago and only a hand full of these kits are still around.
I can tell you though, these are nothing more than a threaded sleeve that slides over the shock and a top hat. (Pretty much like Ground Control sleeves.) I'm sure any decent machine shop could make you a pair. Any information you need just hit me up.
I played with the adjustment and fitment all day. Stuff still ain't right  I got it all dialed in, then went to align the toe setting, and forgot to take out the spacers from my track width measurement. So my alignment was no good. Redid one side and now I have way to much camber on it. So tomorrow, I'll dial it in better and should be golden. The short drive I took it on today the new setup felt great though. Rode super smooth and didn't bottom out on bump stops.
I honestly didn't think I was gonna like this build, but I must say, you have done a good job, and for some reason I like it

So Saturday after doing my chores around the house, I put new spark plugs in the car. I developed a stumble, got a CEL, and went at it. Car now runs fine again. So glad it was simple.
I made a video of my son helping me out in the garage.

Then today, my buddy came over and we looked over the new rear suspension. Found one nut was stripped, replaced it, made a few adjustments and called it good. I basically needed him to tell me it was fine as I kept second guessing myself.
great build, glad to see your taste has "grown up", its funny to look back on previous mods that make you go "wtf was i thinking". white on white looks great.
Small update...drove it an hour to a meet last night and rubbed all the way lol. I'm going to add some camber to the one rear wheel to hopefully stop the rubbing.
My buddy that was going to help me weld up the trunk lid is out of gas. So I decided to say fuck it and stick with the carbon fiber for a while longer. Seems like its meant to be. I stripped the hood down today and will re-clear it tomorrow.
