  • A return to glory.... and then some.... VERY pic heavy!

So most people will have no idea what this car is about so here's a little back story....

This was one of THE first Focus' to get a V6 swap and is currently the ONLY car left in the world that has a true SVT-Contour V6 swap vs a few that have standard Contour/Cougar bottom ends(maybe heads) with SVT top ends or just SVT-C IM's. Originally built by Shawn Lang of MMP, the Original owner of ZX3Tuning before I bought the company from him, this car was built as a company showcase/Sema Car/Mag Whore.

this was how she was in her glory back in the day!

Fast forward almost 6 years later to late 2009 and this is how she looked when i bought her, just 10 days after picking her up of her former owner...

she was in pretty rough shape after 2 years of storage and I've still got a lot of work to do just to get it back to an even keel so to speak. I'll just let the pics do the talking as this is sort of all a copy&paste from other threads so much of the text is useless.....

And of course how she sits now:

Yes. the bolts are pink, as are the barrels. while it might be a odd color choice, in the sun light, the 3 different colors of metallic flake explode with the pink far better than they did with straight chrome or gold bolts. the pics really do not the color of the centers justice....

Thank u so much for saving this car! It's better than ever now imo. I still **** the Chrome peice on the back, but besides that its just right. Good work sir, let's make sure this ends up in the showrooms section.

You have to remember the first pics were from 2001-2003 and it was a sema car... Sorta had to look like that not to mention what did the rest of the car scene look like in the post-apocalyptic-fast&furious-era...

props for making a focus look presentable, no clean. Actually clean. And double props for bringing it back from something I built in NFS underground when I was 12.

Wow, the RS's change the look completely. Lose the pink bolts and you've got a winner. Maybe go with gold bolts? Or even just silver.

Nice turnaround on this car! I'd never heard of the Contour V6 swaps before. I fell in love when I got down to the BBS's. Interesting color choice for the hardware for sure.
