in Portugal you can "wider" the wheels for aprrox 200€... in UK I have no idea.... but yes, it can be done. actually I done that to my new wheels, from 8,5" to 10".

      btw, just 8j19 to a maybach Wheels...strange...

yea im struggling to find somewhere to do it in UK, might have to look into getting it done abroad!

yea i know! i was very shocked when i found out maybachs are 8j, offset is et67 too!!! super weak! i need 20mm spacers on just to clear the standard a3 brakes!

if i can get it done, id have the rear 9.5 and leave the front 8.

8Jx19 will be hard to pull off...your set up now is perfect for bags...

What i dont like is the look of the back of the car cause even though youre still on 215s it doesnt look as wide as on 9s or 9.5s

If you'd get the rears widened that would be perfect...

your absolutely right, even if i spaced the 8j rear out to the same point as the bentleys i still dont think it would look right.

i dont think there is anyone in england who can do it, most i have asked on UK forums seem to thing im mad, or that its not possible!

ive found a company in germany who look promising tho, providing i can work out how to get the wheels to them, ive had a breif look at the site through google translate and sent them an email.

Rindt Felgen might be the most expensive company for that job cause their work is Tüv approved....i mean if its got a Tüv certificate its fuckin safe, trust me i gotta deal with these guys again and again ...and those Maybachs are worth some quality work.

Any major modification such as suspension, wheels, even tire dimensions that vary from stock has to get Tüv approved. Its a fuckin nightmare cause these bastids always find something about your car that's not a 100% the way it's supposed to be. No joke, you wont find a single modded car in Germany that would pass Tüv the ways its driven..

Anyways, the price for ONE wheel is 330€ which includes adding 1'' in width. Every additional inch is 35,- so they'll probably charge you around 15-20€ for half an inch. Should be about 350€ per wheel plus shipping.

Seems like it would be a worthy thing to do though if you really want to stick with the Maybachs.

Plus having that done makes it really unique, one off etc. haha, even more internet hype!

                              in Portugal I pay 220€ for 2 wheels, 8,5 to 10"

and it isn't so cheap as I would like...

this is how shes sitting at the moment, just with 20mm spacers all round.

i either need the wheels widened on the rear, an some off the shelf spacers, or some 50mm custom spacers, and more arch work!
