  • 92 ser daily driver

this is my daily when i got it 2 years ago. I got it for 500 bucks and alil work on another ser.

car was hit in the side and it had rust

I took the engine and tranny out and sold it and took every thing apart to get it ready for paint.

cleaned and sanded the bay and painted it black since who ever painted the car didnt tape any thing up and got white over spray all over every thing.

    started body work ,,flaked paint,dents,rust.

rust work,, I cut out all the bad metal and made patches.

ground it out and welded it in.

    cut it out

sealed it and made a patch and seam sealed it.

    remaking the lip

picture b4 i put it together for paint.

primed and ready for paint,,the bumper from my white car and new tsuru headlights.

    1st coat of paint.

    dents gone.

2nd coat of paint and cleared.

    together

    and most recent.

sorry for so many pics but I thought Id share my progress, what do you guys think

      1. Remove lip
      2. Less tire
      3. More low
      4. ??????
      5. Profit!

Like the colour, don't think we have that model around here.

thanks... I cant go lower because this is my daily and the roads are crap around here.
the rims arnt mine and they are 15s so I cant go lower on tire size.
Im getting 15s for it since I have tires but my other car is getting 16s its not my daily so it will be lower and nicer looking

I super dig b13's you gonna do the bluebird swap? I had a 92 sedan, loved it to death. Ran forever, ga16de's are tough little motors. Too bad they never put the sr20 in the b13 sedan. Love the paint and the Tsuru lights, the Rota Grids were sweet though. Shoulda kept those on. I've been down to Mexico a few times. B13's are everywhere!

You can easily go lower. You appear to be quite high actually. I daily my car with less than 1" to the skid plate, and the only places I have even the slightest bit of trouble are Ellicott City and Catonsville. Seriously, this thing would look AWESOME low, so get one it

Took the words out of my mouth. I guess people just assume every low car must live in some magical flatland where there are no potholes, interstate bridge transitions or speed bumps. Being low is just something you deal with.

However, the car itself looks great. Love the paint color and little accents here and there like the headlights and lip.

well I no I can go lower but i have poop struts and they bottom out the hight its at now so when I get new ones I am going to make it lower because Im not happy with the hight it is. my white one is lower and I can go lower on it because I have ksports and they dont let the car bottom out at all but the exhaust is in the way for the rear suspension arm so after thats fixed Ill be lower on both.

It's certainly come a long way.....that's for sure. But like others have already pointed out, just need to dial in the lowz a bit more.
