So, our garage burned down, which sucks balls. Mike's bummed, I'm bummed, we've got way way way less tools and nowhere to work on shit. I have like a bare-essentials field tool kit just because the day of the fire, I was out getting parts for Nelson at a you-pull-it junkyard and had taken them with me.

My daily beat for the last 2 months has been a totalled DA integra I got in trade for another car. It would be nice except the quarter panel got pushed in like 8 inches when a concrete truck hit the previous owner.

Plan: fix and paint the quarter, borrow Nelson's diamond racing steelies, slam the car, and attack Import Allance, a show in Atlanta this weekend. Why? Because we aren't gonna let a lack of tools and burned up garage get us down.

So all I've done so far is beat the shit out of it and use a fender roller and hydraullic jack to get the unibody back out where it was







I also stripped the paint, but didn't take any pics of it.

Suspension


Removed fender liners and hammered the tabs and lip down


Shitty pics of less shitty bodywork. Took out most of that bondo from earlier and re did it, much smoother now




And got the front down pretty good.



Tomorrow: Replace 2 tires and paint the wheels, finish the bondo, prime and paint, lower rear suspension, put the interior back together, maybe get an alignment, and if I have time put the cd player in.

Sad part is I've used it before... my results are usually pretty good I just do it the super hard way. LOTS of sanding.
