  • A Volvo 360

I bought this car in 2009 had it for a year, sold it too a mate when i started studing. Got some money bought it back last week, this is my "build":

The Volvo 360, sometime called the "Euro Hachi"
Rwd, around 1000kg, 2,0l engines and a transaxle like old Alfas and Corvettes

    When i bought it:

    Got some rotas on, 13x8:

And lowered with spare parts from the drift 360 i also had at that time:

Sorry for the superbad first pic`s, it can only get better right...

Tad more low in the front and its perfect! So does a 2.0 go sideways? Like on normal dry asphalt?

Yup, its all about the commitment, this is from the early days of the red car that later became a drifter, here it is completely stock apart from some weight removal:

A welded diff and stiffer suspension makes it alot more fun and easy:

Yeah thats probably me, if its this one:

This one is sold because of studies..

But back on the blue one, got some massage:

Hmm, scrath marks on the diff

After that it worked great, to great so i bought some rims with lower ET just to mess it up more on that later

Fitted som 13x8 et-10 Allycats that i got powder coated, and lowered the car some more:

The plan is to get the front down a couple of cm more down, that will include some custom work..
I will get back to that
Currently I am trying to decide what size of rim to run, its quite low with 13"`s so I have ordered some 15"`s but i dont know yet, I guess 14" will be the best option but cant find any nice one in 4x100

Pretty cool to see some other fellow Norwegians on this forum. These Volvos are pretty popular in Norway, especially in the winter! They are LOADS of fun and cheap as crap! Love the car, and love the rims! Keep us updated mate

That's on older Volvo's/Dafs, it's called "VarioMatic". It allows you to drive just as fast backwards as forwards.

Juup Dutchstance is right, would be fun to try one of those once Must be a scary experience to go full speed backwards

But here is a pic of the underbody just to confirm it, still i bit special since its an trans axle= 50/50 weight

One more photo from some fun:

Ok, back to the progress or not so much, as mentioned I bought some 15`s, the new Rota Bm8 in 15x9 to bee specific.
Tested them on, even had a tire fitted 195/50, but I have figured out that 15" is to big once and for all and, the car wouldn't even roll with them on so that didnt help either..

Tested them on a mates escort mk1, mhhhm:
