and the final update for now, the S15 HLSD upgrade.
OE open diff:
poof gone (yeah I cleaned that out too, just forgot to take a pic)
ring gear off of old diff and new hlsd, forgot to take pics of me taking it off )that shit isn't normally easy....unless you have a nice impact)
Now I have put it all back together, but forgot to take pics after I smashed/cut my finger when dropping the new diff in. You see I had to hold the bearing guides on while lining up the diff, while trying not to actually "drop it" and it caught my thumb going in, lots of fun.
Anyways I temporally put the cover on and degreased\washed\sanded the outside,
taped it off, and painted (no POR15 has it has a protective coating already and there wasn't any rust):
pressed in the final Diff bushings, touched up the paint, installed the gasket, and torqued to spec.
all it needs is some fluid and its good to go
more updates soonDude... My nissan has like a v8, man.

However from the research I've done it isn't needed for the HLSD.Dude... My nissan has like a v8, man.

From what I understand its like I just took my open diff out and put it right back in.
As long as you follow the order and put everything back in exactly as it was taken out, it works.
I must have read about 20+ posts of people saying thats all they did and they are at 20k + miles.
I'm guessing the OEM spec has rather high tolerances.Dude... My nissan has like a v8, man.
