Update: Mounted the tires (205/45) on the 8x17 rims and testfitted them up front and on the rear, since my 9x17 for the rear of the car aren't refinished yet.

Looks good so far but there are some problems. The 8x17 would fit the rear but it'll rub. Thing is i wanted 9x17 for the rear...
The 8x17 were thought for the front but there they don't fit at all So i need to do the fenderwork i never wanted to do. Fuck.

P.S. I dunno why the tires are that chunky. I am not satisfied with that.
Aaaand the car looks pretty high on this pic. It's because it was jacked for like 2 hours and the springs needed to set themselves.

Sell those tires, that would be the easiest option.
Go with some narrow 205/40's and you can adjust the camber on the back to get them to clear.

I guess that's what i'm going to do. Maybe i can find someone who trades his tires for mine. Let's see.

Since my wheels for the front are 8x17 ET20 as well i wonder what you did to your fender to make them fit.
And what's your rear tire size? 205/40?

                the fender is 100% stock.
when i was running the rear, it was 205/40 on a 9 et22. were the fender was rolled, with out removing the sealant. now its a 10" with 215/40.
you can check my build thread v2 and see when i was running the 9inch wheel.

What i need in fact are tires which have good stretch, rolled fenders, maybe some negative camber in the rear and a good idea what to do with my fucked up left front.

                    Update:

Here is what the painter and I did yesterday. 10 hours of work, lots of "Fuck you"'s and a few screws leftover later i finally have a full-coloured car again:

Though I can't open my hood anymore

Hey man, I have a question: what's the exact function of those reinforcement plates for the rear shocks?
And what do they look like? I can't seem to figure out what it does exactly...

I guess they lessen the stress on the rear strut mountings. But that's only a guess.

                          Here's a pic:

Tourings are so ugly, who'd drive those anyways.
