Don't worry about lowering right off. Get the horrible stuff out of the way and then get to the fun stuff. I did it backwards and have to one day look at tearing mine apart, which means it won't be on the road Got tons of memories from growing up in one of these. They still hold a special place in my heart. Yours is looking great!!!!

    Primered some small stuff.
    Yesterday

    SOme more primer haha

Got side tracked with the exhaust.

Got back to reality and did this today.
    More primer

    Little more

taped up one handle(i also did the other one but dont have pics

    primered whole side

    front semi primered

    took lights out

Rust reformer/ grill and vw sign off

    all primered

Exhaust after some high heat paint.

still have bodywork to do in the back, on the driverside, and a little inside. But Bodywork and Primer should be done.... Next week or two ? it depends on how my cash flow is haha
