Here is my motor. Got a brand new turbo, oil feed/return lines, IC piping that need to be put on. But its a blast to drive.

Was made by a buddy in california. I can give you a name of someone that builds awesome shit out of his house. One thing you will learn about tacomas especially when you start doing static drops, that there is VERY VERY little aftermarket shit for these trucks. One guy (brian aka beefedtaco) on another forum builds a lot of cool hard parts for these trucks, another guy (Jason aka speedfreak) builds performance stuff as in manifolds (exhaust and intakes) traction bars, wires standalones, and can weld anything and everything.

There is not one set of coilovers that are made for these trucks, one thing that a few of us run are Qa1 coilovers from a 69 camaro...i know lol funny.

There are no drop leaf springs like for other trucks, no drop spindles, only 2 companies make drop coils and they only drop a max of 2".

yeah, ive noticed aftermarket is non existent. i was gonna do drop block out back, and the DJM kit up front, might mess with some other stuff tho..

as far as the taco goes,, it on soon, unfortunately its freaking snowing here! ugh.
got some bedliner spray, and pressure washed the sheot out if it.
got wheels and tires lined up sunday, 15x10 diamonds. 195-60 bridgestones.
after the wheels go on im gonna start the drop.

ok bagged the diamonds, as they turned out to be 15x8's. fail
so i found these puppies.


15x10 no namer alloys. with 295-50-15 rubber. these tires are HUGE! picken em up tomorrow night. flares go on this weekend, and hopefully my rollbar and exhaust. fingers crossed!

got the wheels on today, and my ghetto-hero fender flares.
turns out the wheels are made by granite alloys.
pretty sweet. handles like a go-kart.
