yeah i seen the 240 but thats too close to the windshield and sticking up 2 much ,its not going to be daily driven only when i want to tear up the streets ...but first off all i will get the car started and see how it sounds before i make a hole in my hood ..lol worst come to worst i will just make a regular down pipe and were my test pipe is supose to be ill install a electric cutout bypass system.......if not you will see a quarter inch of exhaust piping from hood ...

I love miatas but your ruining it. fix that turbo and do it proper. run the waste gate threw the hood and have the exhaust come out under the passanger to make them **** being in your car. oh oh and a cool diesel flapper on it if you do keep it up out the hood thats the only way this makes it ok...

this is more or less what i was getting at.
but upon further inspection, idk if u would have room to do that...
just from experience, turbos make alot of either a: black smoke from too much fuel, or b: unburnt fuel or oil mist.
last thing u want is that shit caked to your windsheild lol.
