So, basically Earlier this year I bought a 95 Civic EX coupe. It is/was beat to hell, and riec-ified. And I'm really just making this thread to see how far the car actually comes along.
When I got it, it was aerosol primered, (the roof and trunk were still showing the original coat of red...must have ran out of primer.) had painted black CRX DX wheels on it, and is riding around on some blown ass struts with lowering springs, and literally the car is unsafe for the road. Guess you get what you pay for ($400). HAHA. On the upside of things, it has a super clean interior, stock radio, power windows, locks, a/c, power steering, and a power sunroof. And ALL of the interior pieces are there, and functional.
I'm honestly just building this car to put on craigslist and sell, because it's not really what I want, and to be honest with you I have too many projects and really need to focus my attention on a car I have been neglecting for about a year and a half now.
Now on to the "build/modding" part of things.
So far I have fixed the driveability issues, with new ball joints, axles, brakes, inner and outer tie rod ends, and have a set of prothane suspension bushings in the mail.
I have also ordered;
Amber smoked sidemarkers and corners
4300k hid's
Yellow jdm fogs
Mugen lip
Paint (a surprise)
Fabric (a surprise haha)
Exhaust
Transmission (3rd is gone in the current tranny)
Gasket set, etc.
I'm basically just going to be doing a good tune up on the car, adjust the valves, etc get it off the junk ass suspension it's on, and paint it.
Oh and for the wheel junkies out there...
REAL panasports, +32 offset (I believe?) 15x7 I think, with painted spokes (gunmetal) and mirror polished lips. No fake shit here fellas. If I dont get what I want out of the car, it will likely have some crx wheels back on it when I sell it haha.
Little pulling on the fenders, paint and some body stuff, and I'm done.
I should have pics up of this shitheap within the next few hours.
