Buying a house in California is currently one of the worst real-estate investments you can find, but to each their own.

Don't get me wrong, I love the car and am looking forward to its progress, I was just surprised someone with a $135k car lives with their parents.

Srsly though, I've had the same mentality about owning a house. It's a waste to rent. But I fcked up spent my money so now I'm paying the price. Regardless I help out around the house, try to please them to make things easier on them. Shoot I'm thankful my parents let me live at home. I'm thankful they paid for my education. I intend to do the same for my kids. At least they are smart and know how to manage their money.

so i was pretty pissed at the dealership's treatment of me after i bought the car (the front bumper was misaligned when i took delivery. when they fixed it the first time, it looked like they fixed the two bumper clips that i complained about, but broke every other clip holding up the bumper. they also were super unresponsive, and the car was delivered 3 days after it was promised, etc., etc.) so i complained to lexus corporate -- $500 service and parts credit yatta! i ordered a new smart card key (which the previous owner broke and the selling dealer wouldn't fix, which made me mad too. why would i buy a cpo car if you're not going to fix shit? arrrr) and a nav update this morning.



also, my friends kyle and ian are starting a new suspension piece venture -- they're currently making RCA/SS kits for lexus vehicles. we're looking into building something for the 600h, which is seriously lacking in aftermarket support (well, nobody even drives these stock, either -- seems like most luxo buyers would rather have a benzo s550 around here); i'll keep y'all poasted.

these really are great cars. i drive these beauties all day at work and i am more and more impressed each time.. the 430 sport is pretty sick though. If they did a sport packaged 600 that would be amazing... just the trim work and tones of the interior on the sport are soooo nice.

otherwise, lexus suck... but these are quite nice and they get out of their own way, thats for sure.

anyway, i got a quote for the mode parfume kit and i shat my pants. their kit for f50-chassis q45 is about $5k, but the kit for this car is almost 150% of what the f50 kit costs lulz. that means i won't be able to buy it anytime soon haha.
