    Time for the build thread

I bought the car about a month ago, 1996 328ic w/ 130k on it. I was looking for a 240 but found this and got a great deal on it so I picked it up.

Shitty pictures from when I first got it

Had some ugly enkei wheels on it with bald tires and blown struts.

A couple weeks later I decided to pull the bbs rs reps off of my e12 and put them on...much better imo but still had 4x4 status.

I was tired of riding on blown struts and feeling like I was on a boat everywhere I went so I got some cheap raceland co's for now.

This is with the coilovers as high as they go, too low until I get my fenders rolled because it rubs like hell. I need to lower it a lot in the front though.

    Next things to do:
roll fenders so I can get some more low
    ddm m3 front bumper
    hardtop

I'm poor and in highschool so idk how fast these next things are going to happen lol but it will get there eventually!

m badge is already gone, you can see in the last few pictures. And I agree the corners look pretty ugly but I plan on getting some depo lights along with new corners soon.

edit-I'm also pulling off the chrome door handles and chrome trim on the trunk today and putting the non-m trim back on the car.

Nice start. There's a hardtop for sale locally for a grand, but they can be found for less.
Definitely a good investment for any vert.

Thanks, and I wish I could find one for less than that locally. I have found some good deals but shipping costs way to much.

Lowered it a bit and put my CCW's on - it can't go any lower without spacers or it will rub on the coilovers.

It is currently for sale though (looking to get a coupe).

Do the vert man! I have wanted to do one for a while but couldnt find a good one. Do something unique with it, there are no solid e36 verts!

Thats actually pretty much what I decided

Some new shots - lowered front end and have an oem m3 rear bumper in the garage and new clear corners on order. Also have some frenched fogs and am going to have paint on the bumper soon enough (I hope).

Going to get some 20mm spacers in the rear and lower more also soon.

I love seeing a stanced convertible no matter what make or model there's just something about them, and yours definitely has that something.
